The 1-hour lecture conducted by Mr Eddon was highly informative, offering practical insights into the evolution of POS systems from legacy hardware to cloud-based modular solutions. He discussed common industry challenges, including inefficiency, manpower constraints, and disconnected systems, and highlighted how integrated digital ecosystems improve operational efficiency and scalability. He also shared career advice for students, emphasising clarity in job applications, interview preparation, and the importance of continuous learning and adaptability in today’s job market.
