On 12th December 2024, the APU Sandbox (ASBX) Accelerator hosted its highly anticipated Final Pitch event where many innovative and excellent ideas by the excellent accelerator teams who have refined their work through much preparation.

The afternoon was brought to life by Prof. Vinesh, with his opening remarks emphasising on the benefits of the accelerator to APU students. 6 dedicated startup teams pitch their brilliant ideas and impress the panel of honoured judges. With the help of their experienced mentors from industry, the teams demonstrated tremendous progress on the development of their solution.

The judges lineup consisting of, Mr. Fabian Hoong, director of Synergy Via Online (SVO), Ms. Anusha Magendram, assistant vice president at MIGHT and Ms. Yap Pin Foong, Head of Enterprise IT at CelcomDigi, evaluated the teams based on criteria such as idea uniqueness, product-market fit, business feasibility, as well as their presentation skills. We saw great interactions on thought-provoking questions and feedback were delivered, allowing the teams to identify areas for improvement on their business idea.

Congratulations to team XiaoBao for their commitment and dedication for this event. A special acknowledgement to the winner who displayed their unprecedented pitch that has the potential to take the market by storm. The team is working on a one-stop solution parenting application which includes baby cry translation, community content sharing, and baby shop features.
