Come join Startup Weekend @ APU to learn what it really takes to become your own entrepreneur!
Featuring deep experiential learning with many opportunities to engage and connect with like-minded individuals, Startup Weekend @ APU is a structured 3-day ideation bootcamp aimed at helping students who have identified a need or a problem and wish to test the viability of their ideas by pitching their business model at the end of the programme.
The best part? It’s FREE to participate and a Certification of Participate will be given to students who have completed the programme.

APU HOSTS THE FIRST EVER ONLINE TECHSTARS STARTUP WEEKEND!!!
Our Enterprise@APU team organized a 54-hour online Techstars Startup Weekend from 2nd July 2021-4th July 2021 (Friday-Saturday). The event was designed to provide experiential knowledge where aspiring entrepreneurs can experience startup life. Jointly organised by Techstars and Enterprise@APU, students who participate in this event will be evaluated on brainstorming skills, creating a prototype, and followed through with a series of presentations. Techstars Startup Weekend features deep experiential learning with many opportunities to engage and connect with like-minded individuals.
A Startup Weekend is a great platform to learn what it really takes to innovate, disrupt and start a company from people who have experienced it themselves. Techstar Startup Weekend features deep experiential learning guided by an experienced hand. It is also a good place to connect with passionate people driven to build something new. There is no better place to meet new friends, colleagues, mentors, cofounders, and inventors. We were mesmerized by the performance of our team of students!
There were 81 registrants and a total of 6 teams managed to get into the final pitching session. The results announced by the judges on Sunday can be seen as follows: –
